I recently bought a house and shortly after moving in learned that we had a massive mold issue in the basement as the foundation was full of cracks. Frank came to take a look at it and walked me through the problems and the process for resolving them. He was knowledgeable and honest and his price to do the work was one of the most reasonable I received. Frank and his team were courteous and professional when they attended to do the work and completed the work in a very timely manner (less than 1 week).

When frank excavated to waterproof my home from the outside, it became clear that someone had waterproofed in the past and Frank explained what was previously done and why it didn't work. After seeing the difference between what was there and what Frank did I understand the difference and feel very confident that my home is now properly protected.

Since completing his work I have gone on to do some other renos at the property (unrelated to the waterproofing) and literally every contractor that has come into my home (whether hired or not) has commented on how great the waterproofing job is. I think it speaks volumes to hear other contractors all say how great the waterproofing has been completed.

My basement has been bone dry since the work was completed despite numerous heavy rainfalls and I could not be more pleased I trusted Frank and his team for this job.

This is the second time that I've used Frank to fix a leak in my home's foundation. I can't recommend Frank enough! He's thorough, professional and Meticulous in his work. I had a basement leak and wanted it inspected. I also wanted a general inspection of any possible leaks in my basement.

Frank came over and provided an estimate. He was very thorough in his inspection inside the basement and outside walls. He even went looking behind the insulation for watermarks and condensation and leaks. During the inspection he explained everything clearly and he even showed me what was good in my basement and what needed to be addressed

Eventually he recommended I address a crack from the outside and plug some leaks on the inside

Once a date and as set, Frank and his team completed the work in one day. They removed the paving and excavated down against the basement wall and after addressing the waterproofing , relaid the paving as they had found it.

I had interacted with other companies for this work and I was extremely comfortable with Frank and I felt what he was doing was in best interest of my requirement compared to some other companies estimate I received with minimal inspection and a ridiculously high cost . Referred by my wife's family for work completed on their place. Frank tackled 2 sides of our leaking foundation and patched it up superbly. Professional attitude, accurate quote, and cleaned up after the work. I referred him to my family for another job.

In Spring of 2023 we had a basement leak due to a crack in our basement wall near one of our window wells. Frank and his team are well known in my neighborhood of West Rouge, and they were recommend to us to fix this crack. Frank came in and found a second crack on the other side of the basement. He explained the solutions available to us and gave us a very reasonable quote within a quick timeline. The scope included trenching outside the house to 9' below grade, filling in the cracks, renewing damaged weeping tiles, installing dimple boards and new window wells, back filling the earth and filling in new clean gravel. He was very mindful of our sprinkler system and our new stone walkway. Its been nearly a year and we've not had a leak since! I would recommend Ace Waterproofing to anybody whole-heartedly!

Noticed water in the unfinished side of the basement. Even though some of the water coming from the middle of the room and no wet section on the walls, 3 contractors suggested to dig outside and check for cracks /malfunctioning weeping tile. Frank was referred to me by a friend and he immediately know water is coming from under the house. Completed the job in 2 days (dug around the room, installed weeping tiles, connected to sum pump). His job is very clean and cleaned up after himself very well - couldn't even tell any digging was done when job was completed. Knowledgeable, explains every step, reasonable price, very clean and prompt. Would recommend to family friends 100%
