We hired Steve Squared to demolish our old deck and build a new one. They did a great job for us. They were very pleasant to deal with and quick to reply if we had questions for them by phone or email. They were also very helpful with design-related questions that we had for the new deck. Their crew was friendly and did a great job cleaning up each day. We were very pleased with the work they did and would enthusiastically recommend them.

Steve Squared dealt with the removal of an old fence and gates. There were many issues that had to be addressed, including the design, location of a large tree and moving growth alongside the fence. I had one company build a wooden fence to separate our backyard from the alley behind us, and then a number of years later hired Steve Squared to add to it so that we have privacy between our backyard and our nosy neighbours. Steve Squared replaced our outside back steps, terrace and deck. The work was done professionally, on schedule, within budget and to challenging specifications. The team was responsive, good at problem-solving and respectful of property (even managing to protect a massive wisteria vine that was wrapped tightly around the railings). A happy experience from start to finish.
