College Pro Window Cleaners

We personally had a bad first experience. Company cancelled, re-booked to a new date and then actually went to an old address to which I had told them the new one when we got a new quote. Very unprofessional.
We thought we would try them again. This time with a different leader. In fact, they reached out to us. Have them the go ahead. Confirmed date and time. Sent an email stating they were sick at 8am the day of after the fact. We had already taken the day off. We rebooked with a new date and never heard back. What a waste of time and money. Do not recommend.

We previously had no complaints with this company for years and it was good. However, as of recently with new workers and perhaps management, we had a completely opposite experience. they had a complete mess scheduling not knowing when our appointment was.

In terms of service, they left plenty of windows with smudges and streaks, if you have a window that has a screen on it, they wont bother to ask you to take it off and just not clean it, basement windows you can forget that they will clean either. The only reason I am giving a 1 star is after countless emails of them making many excuses for why the job was so poor, and not taking accountability, they finally offered a refund.

Unless theres a significant change in management and workers, you can expect having to meticulously checking every window to check if they did it properly and still you'll be left with mainly dirty windows. See the photos for the quality you can expect from this company.

Hired this company to clean my gutters and outside of all windows. I trust the gutters were cleaned out well as I should have asked for before and after photos however the visible problem is the window cleaning. When the crew finished it appeared as though the windows were clean however, when I cleaned the windows from the inside I very quickly realized the poor cleaning job from the outside. A number of windows were completely missed!! I called the company back to request a proper completion of the job. Left e-mails, texts, messages and finally a week later I received a response that someone would come out to re-clean on a specific date/time but they never showed up or responded again. I would never, ever recommend or hire again. Terrible customer service!!
Too bad though, as the crew that originally came out was quite nice and polite.

We were quoted a 10% discount ($223) but charged full ($248), then given the run-around with trying to get reimbursed, 'til we gave up

Showed up 2 hours late with no apology and no explanation. Moved patio furniture and screens and didn't put them back. Pulled out the water hoses and left them out. Left the area a mess. Asked for payment before even finishing the work. Do NOT hire them.

I also want to support students, but I am done with these guys. So unorganized. They were supposed to send before and after pictures for gutter cleaning at a rental, but they forgot. And, this year instead of an actual invoice (which I need), they only sent a quote...no invoice with dates for the work completed. Supposedly no actual invoice with dates and details was available due to the system. Quality is not stellar. I will be looking for someone else next year.
p.s. further to someone's else's post about cost, this year they charged me more than $200 for a small bungalow. I think 2 (maybe 3) people were here for no more than an hour. Agree with the others, hire professionals.

The crew seemed unprepared, arrived much earlier than scheduled, and was poorly equipped with dirty rags and seemingly only tap water to clean. Some windows were missed entirely and others were left with streaks and smudges. The job was completed too quickly considering there was a a fall and Winter of wear to clean off.

The actual window cleaning was fairly good BUT one screen was broken as it fell from the second floor, four other screens were left loose and would have also fallen had I not checked and 6 screens are bent so they no longer fit the windows and will need replacement

I just received the window cleaning service from College Pro in Hamilton, Ontario and wanted to leave a review. I did try going to the college pro website where there is a testimonials page where there are "real reviews" from "real customers", however there is no area in the testimonials page for me to actually write a "real review" from a "real customer".

With that being said, I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience.

I was supposed to receive a phone call to advise when they would be on their way but no call was received. Once they arrived, I spoke with one of the guys who reviewed what they were supposed to do and confirm the job. Before I accepted the job, I had the salesperson confirm that the windows including frame, eavestrough, fascia would be cleaned by using a pressure washer and chemicals. The workers that came to my home did not have a pressure washer or any cleaners/chemicals in order to clean. They simply took my hose and attempted to rinse the eavestrough and fascia and not actually cleaning anything. I happened to go outside and noticed that there was still dirt and cobwebs everywhere, even an empty bird's nest was left on the eavestrough. I then proceeded to provide the use of my own pressure washer, which they used. However, there were many instances where they needed to go back to actually clean what was claimed as already being clean. At one point, I was walking past a window that was supposedly cleaned and saw it all dirty. At first I tried to give the benefit of the doubt and thought that it was the inside part of the window that was dirty. I tried re-cleaning it on the inside and found that it was actually the outside that was still dirty. I even went with a paper towel and wiped the window, and the paper towel came out black because of the dirt remaining on it. They used the water to rinse the windows, etc but never did anything to actually clean them. Moreover, the salesperson also confirmed that ALL windows would get cleaned and that they were all accessible since they had long enough ladders, but that was not the case either as a window was missed because they could not reach it due to my gazebo being there (which was there when the job was quoted). I was also told that the windows, including the frame and screen would be cleaned. Fortunately, most of the screens on my windows are inside otherwise I'm sure they would have been missed as well. The window frames were missed where I saw cobwebs and dirt on those as well after they were supposedly cleaned. From the ones that I could see, I had to continually ask to have the frames actually cleaned which they eventually did but again not to the level as promised.

Overall, the work was not professionally completed. This was an awful experience and I'm not satisfied with the quality of work. I was not able to see/confirm that the windows on the 2nd floor were cleaned properly, but based on the quality of work they did, I'm almost certain that they are not cleaned.

This is the damage to our windows. It has been over a year and conversations with 5 different people from College Pro, but we have heard nothing from a claims' adjuster.
