Lindsay is knowledgeable and has many ideas of how a garden should flow. With her on a job site, things go smoothly and are very impressive. The issue we had is we feel like we were misled by the thought that she would be on the project the entire time. In fact she outsourced the planting completely to a friend and another planter whose real job is taking care of horses. There was furthermore discrepancy in the amount of product used.
To be frank, there was many thing we were told that turned out to be false (felt we were misled on more than one matter). There was definitely a lack of trust and the story seemed to continually keep changing (says one thing to another).
Also, I was disappointed by the lack of detail or attention to drainage as that can seriously impact a garden (I bought my own pipes to correct the problem). My advice consider her for the design of your project if you would like to use her services, but hire someone else for the planting unless she gives the assurance she will be fully involved. Although she explicitly stated to me in an e-mail "I am not a labour hand and shouldn't be treated as such" Proceed accordingly.
Although this is a mostly negative review, I do have positive things to say about her knowledge and attention to detail - just wish we had a better experience and were able to refer her. Given our experience that is not happening.
