This company is a complete rip off. Over charge for everything. Charged me $170 for a membrane that only cost $15 at other places.

We were so gullible when we first moved into our new home and spent $10,000 on the water softener system that only worth no more than $1,500. Lesson learnt...

My wife and I had the Rainsoft system installed a number of years ago. The sales rep was really friendly, and we had a lot of fun with the presentation. After washing my hands with the treaded water all I could think about was how nice it would feel to shower in it.

After having the system installed THAT NIGHT I jumped into the shower immediatly so that I could feel the difference, and it was better than I thought it would be.

I was very happy with the service, and how the system has worked for us thus far. I've already mentioned it to a number of friends.

The water tastes a little different, but after getting used to it it's hard to tell the difference. And the way it feels on my skin makes it worth every penny!

We also STILL have the soaps we were given!

We have had this Rain Soft water softener system for the past 7 years. It was a costly investment, approx $10,000 when purchased back then. As the contract states that it is a lifetime warranty for parts. The service itself is not under warranty, nor are the filters, nor is the resin contained in the softener tank. We have noticed the water has not been as soft as the previous years and decided to have a service person come check the big system in the basement. It seemed that the tank was not regenerating or pumping the water out, and thus the water continued to get harder, soon we were drinking city tap water. The service tech came out for the call twice and still was not able to resolve the hardness of the water to our satisfaction so we called the service manager, and the manager was not helpful either, instead we were given the run around on why it may not be working. In any case we figured that the resin may need changing, but their service manager states that the resin usually last for 10 years. We tested the water daily and weekly and still experienced the hardness in the water and was frustrated with the telephone tag so we gave up. We will not invest in another Rain soft water system in the future.
