We asked for the same crew who did our neighbor's house , PER CONTRACT ! Mykola figured that wasn't important and sent a different crew that has saddled us with issues since it was completed a year ago in June 2015. They corrected a couple of things after much phoning and listening to excuses ,but created other problems in the process . When we call for resolution we are told the installer is on vacation and will get back to us but doesn't..he's ALWAYS on vacation.
The problem is we , the customer , deals with Mykola , who sends a crew of his choice . He then delegates YOU to deal with THEM , although you had no choice in this process(see first line of review). YOU now deal with the people HE chose to do either a good or bad job..pretty slick..ZIM wash hands of the installation and YOU get stuck with the results. I have waited a year , I am patient , there are other small issues we chose to overlook , we are NOT complainers..We just want what we paid for IN CASH..
Advice..wait four seasons before reviewing the installation . Video record the initial consultation to ensure what is agreed upon is what is delivered. We gave the installers open access to our washroom without having to ask and kept them supplied with bottled frozen water without having to be prompted..We were told we treated them 'like slaves '!!!!????? We are very unsatisfied with the service and crew, the roof looks great , leaky eaves and all. ZIM says they 'don't do eave trough'..then DON'T alter the effectiveness and drainage ,simple. Make sure to investigate other installers/companies and compare workmanship and pricing.. The workmanship we have experienced is less that complimentary .Had we waited , there ARE other more competent installers with better follow up service AND pricing . It appears our installer is still 'on vacation'..
We have had potential customers come to our door ask us what we think of the company..we have to be honest and tell them to look elsewhere . I don't know what it is about ZIM , they will promise anything , but once the money is paid in full , it's like they don't even know you .
