Quality Windows

I replaced all of my windows in my house with Sunview 2 years ago . The windows are very high quality. I had some issues with the original installation but the company came back promptly to rectify any issues.

Quality Windows; Poor Installation

I replaced all of my windows in my house with Sunview 2 years ago and I have debated writing a review until now. I feel strongly that the windows are good quality but the installation and professionalism was sub-par. The person installing the vinyl jams measured incorrectly on more than 1/3 of the windows, leaving 1/4 inch gaps on many corners. Several windows are not flush with the vinyl jams. Gaps were left in the exterior caulking, until pointed out by me (and then rectified). Workers left broken glass in the cul de sac where I live until I asked to borrow their shop vac to personally clean it up. Workers tried to get money on the side for the downstairs windows because the sales rep quoting the installation did not quote full frame replacement. One downstairs window is not sealed properly from the outside. One upstairs window encounters lots of resistance when opening and closing (the window popped out of the track shortly after installation)...Sunview was contacted for a follow up and the worker essentially pretended to replace the warped plastic piece that rides in the track. i.e. he clearly popped it off, pretended to put it in his pocket and retrieve a new piece (even though it was the same piece) and the problem still remains. The downstairs windows are substantially smaller than my original ones. Overall, I am perplexed by the positive reviews, since my experience was so negative. I could never, in good conscience, recommend this company to anyone. I am very dissatisfied, especially considering the money I spent.
