I had no hot water and it my hot water tank company told me it was my mixing valve. Rooterman said they need to see it to diagnose it themselves. I don't have an issue with that and they had the same diagnosis 5 minutes in.

The cost for replacement was $498 plus tax. We searched online and it appeared the cost was very overpriced.

I have no experience at all and purchased the part for $65 and it took me 23 minutes (i used a stop watch) to replace it.

Absolute rip off.

I would highly recommend these guys for the job. These guys very professional and know how to handle any plumbing related issues. I would give them 5 stars for customer service, communication, job completion, cleanup afterwards, and feedback. Thank you for the awesome job which others said couldn't be done.

Called about a basement toilet not draining well; it turned out to be a building trap under by basement floor that was badly compromised by roots (this was very clear from the camera). I took up the baseboards and flooring in the affected room, and a crew came to break through the pad and replace the trap. During that work they discovered (as they had warned me might happen) that the drain pipe from the house out to the driveway was "No-Corrode" ("Orangeburg" pipe), a terrible product used in the 40s and 50s that causes trouble for many homes. This was also replaced, with only a small hole in the driveway (they didn't dig up the entire lawn). The site was left clean and ready for me to re-lay the flooring.

Toilet malfunction. Once again Rob was efficient, quick, helpful, professional, and friendly throughout the service call. We initially met Rob the first time we used this company and he spent half a day here doing a variety of plumbing services, and we were very happy with the results!

After a horrible experience with my builder, my toilet was completely clogged and not installed correctly. The toilet flange extension was completed and the repair was done in a very professional and timely manner. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a contractor in a long time.

While vacationing in Mexico I had a kitchen flood which my neighbour discovered when checking on our home. Rooterman was able to explain the issue clearly to me and even sent me before and after pictures. They told me I could make payment upon my return however with the online payment option it was so easy to pay right away. Their processionalism was A . Thank you Rooterman for allowing me to enjoy the rest of my vacation stress free.

Short Story: The plumber that they sent could not even read the water meter properly. Was not able to pin point the problem, and did not even go around the house to do the basic investigation. They charged us $111 for his service, told us they will give us a Refund, but Never did.
Be aware of this company.

Full story: I called Rooter.Man bc we had this sound of water running behind the wall for a week, without having any leakage. We checked all the toilets and all the taps, all were closed.
After two weeks, we called Root.Man - now we also had a wet basement.
The service guy checked the water meter and suggested that I had to call the City , Water department since he said "the meter does not show any water running. this water is coming from outside of your house, it is from the street." He also gave us a quote to repair the foundation wall. The quote was for $7,800. He did not even bothered to go and check around the building.
So, we called the City of Richmond Hill, and told them as per our plumber, there must be water leakage from the street into our house. The gentleman who came, first investigated all around the house, including the back yard, And guess what? The tap behind the basement wall, was all open. Fully running water. Running water had made a pool behind the wall. Of course he charged us nothing.
I contacted Rooter.Man and explained what happened. I told them that the person they sent, did not do any basic "investigation", was not able to pin point the problem, and even worse, was not able to read the water meter properly. They said they are sorry and they will issue us a refund as soon as their managers are back from vacation.
No refund, no apology yet. Nothing. We just throw away One hundred eleven dollars.

Our toilet wasn’t draining well. Jay was polite and efficient. He snaked the toilet, unblocked it, and tested it thoroughly. Recommended a new one due to its age. The price was okay and we were satisfied with the fix.

We had a major drain repair that required excavation in certain areas of my home, as well as parts of the exterior. As someone who has gone through renovations in the past, I must say that the crew at Rooter-Man were AMAZING! The crew was focused and worked-hard to finish in a timely-manner. Each day, they cleaned up the work area and left their tools etc. in a tidy manner.

They played no music, put their phones away, and zoned out in the job! At the end, they left my property spotless. I cannot give enough praise to rooter-man. I am so beyond satisfied with their workmanship. I felt safe leaving my home with the crew inside doing their work. My wife is equally as satisfied - absolutely no complaints!
