We hired Rob from Homestars and based upon his reviews. He was very responsive and stepped in quickly to help us with a major demo and re-plastering job on our third floor. When it came to drywall our entire house, the obvious choice was Rob. He had framed and drywalled our previous basement and we were extremely happy with his work. For this job, Rob's team framed the exterior walls and completely drywalled and taped every wall in the house. His team was extremely efficient and accommodated all the other trades in the house. When issues arouse, which is inevitable with an old house, Rob's team worked with us to come up with a satisfying solution. We are extremely happy with the job and would recommend Rob to anyone.

I hired Rob back in October to do a small-to-medium sized job for me. He was very prompt in giving me a quote and was very professional throughout the whole process. Him and his crew did an excellent job (on time) and I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future.

We gutted a semi-detached, and needed to drywall the entire main floor and second floor, walls and ceilings. Rob's team had the entire place drywalled in 2 days, and had his mudder/taper come in at night. They finished the entire house in a week, and the work was excellent. It's an old house, so there were some tricky bits to work around, and some plaster walls to skim, as well as plumbers to work around, so that was an unbelievable timeline.
Rob and his crew are very nice guys, very pleasant to work with, very honest and straightforward. In a few months we want to drywall the basement, and we'll be calling Rob.

I found this company (Rob) from an online search..once I emailed them response was quick..and a site visit was scheduled and completed promptly..We started the work including drywalling, electrical and plumbing. One positive we found was this company having access to good electrical and plumbing personnel using whom we got estimates and the work was completed promptly..All the people involved in the work and who worked in our basement were polite workers. The work was completed with good quality, within budget and along reasonable timelines..I would rehire them for any other renovation work....Thanks to Rob, Steve and Junior.

Rob was referred to us when we started scoping out the removal of a partial wall between our kitchen and living room. Rob came highly recommended and it was understandable why he was. His quote for the work was extremely reasonable and the work, from start to finish, was amazing and top notch quality. When we ran into an unexpected plumbing issue, Rob had contacts onhand who could assist and keep the work on track without delay. He also referred a flooring contact to finish off the area where the wall used to be. We will definitely work with Rob again for future projects around the house. Thanks Rob!

This was the second time we used Rob to do repairs at our office. we had to remove a section of wall for a plumbing repair, after the job was finished we contacted Rob. He had previously completed a ceiling repair for use at the beginning of the year, and we were very pleased with the results. we had a lot of holes and scars on the wall that were patched and the room looks perfect, no one can tell we had to open the wall. we want to thank Rob for coming in quickly and finishing the job quickly. It's sometimes very difficult to find a contractor to come in so quickly to do a small job in an office building.

Rob gave me the highest quote I found, but he was the only one who committed the days and the time when the job would be done, which was important for me. His team came always in time and it did a A+ job, very fast in practically 4 days everything was over.

For the past 20 years I've had a recurring problem with a 3 - 4 foot horizontal crack in the finished stairway wall leading to our rec room. I’ve tried repairing this crack in vain several times with various fillers, compounds and tape.
My wife and I were extremely happy with Rob’s drywall work in our bathroom in 2011, so I asked him back to look at the stairway problem. He examined the basement construction, explained to me what he thought the problem might be, and then told me what he needed to do to prove his theory. I allowed him to remove a 3’ wide x 2’ high piece of the stairway wall where the crack existed, to reveal what was behind it.
Just as Rob suspected, the drywall was installed such that the horizontal seam between 2 drywall sheets was installed directly over the joint of the 2” x 4” bottom plate of the main floor wall and the top of the 2” x 10” floor joist. Undue movement on the main floor adjacent to that wall (kitchen) or pressure against the basement wall could stress that seam, eventually resulting in a crack. He removed the drywall along the cracked seam and overlapped the area between the upper and lower walls with new drywall, thereby avoiding the seam-on-seam problem.
While he was there, I also had Rob drywall a closet for me that I had recently framed in the basement.

It was a dilemma to get a drywall contractor…from the ones that never returned my calls, to the ones that gave a quote/time to start and never showed up, I even had a contractor who gave me a list of the sheets/materials needed that I bought and I never heard from him again!
Then I found Rob on Homestars. What a difference….What a contractor! I contacted Rob on a Friday; he returned my call on his weekend to acknowledge that he got my message and gave me an appointment on Monday for a quote! Rob showed up on time and generously worked on a quote within my budget. He also worked within the timing I wanted the job to be done. What a team! Pleasant people and easy to deal with…. Each single one of them went steps beyond to give me seamless BEAUTIFUL basement walls. Rob made sure that his team had everything needed to deliver a perfect job. Knowing that we will do the primer/painting ourselves and that we won’t have electrical power until couple more weeks, Rob offered to leave 2 of his working lights for us to use…. What a thoughtful person!
