Trans Canada Movers

In short, this company used old weigh tickets for our move. The "empty" ticket was dated almost 3 months prior to our move date; the "full" was time stamped 3 hours after they left with the load and only a 30 min drive to the weigh scale which is less than 5 mins from their company location. They demanded full payment before they unload (based on these tickets); we had to call the police to keep the peace. We asked for the truck to be reweighed before and after delivery and the difference was almost 1000 lbs, about $700. Unknown to us, the job had been subcontracted out to Trans Canada Movers so we were unable to do a background check. Would never hire this company or recommend them.
