DS solved a 2 year problem of a mystery sewage smell in a basement bathroom by tracing it to the storm backwater valve. They also fixed the installation of a toilet that had not been done properly. It was completed in a timely manner. Marc was very knowledgeable and explained what was needed to repair the items. Upon completing the original job, laundry tub sink, Marc did a free inspection of the remaining plumbing in the house. Upon inspection, one toilet was found to be loose. I didn't know the rocking toilet could pose a health issue, but Marc was able to fix it as well. Called the emergency number. Craig Muir showed up and quickly fixed the issue. He had been working all day since the -4o below weather had caused many issue for ottawa residence. They we will be back to move my lines pit in a new faucet and outdoor tap that doesn't freeze. Great service and solid job.

We called DS plumbing in emergency on a Sunday early morning (burst pipe due to extreme cold) and the pipe was repaired within 3 hours of our initial call . On-call DS staff returned our call within an hour (we were not the only ones with the same problem that day) , was courteous , repaired the pipe with minimal opening of the ceiling (which will need to be repaired anyway due to water damage) and left the area clean after work completion
