Assumed responsibility for my elderly aunt's rental properties, or should I say rental problems! Had some complicated plumbing and electrical issues in an old house. Bill responded immediately to my queries. Met me promptly as promised. Troubleshooted prioritizing issues. These weren't simple issues and I could not go to specialist services, I needed someone who could handle multiple problems in an old house. Bill has been a tremendous stress reliever. I not have much happier tenants and I am no longer worried.

I had to have my closet doors replace. Bill came to the house and measured the closets for me and saved me the cost of having to pick them up. He completed the work on time and they are amazing. Will be calling him back for future home improvements.

In anticipation of a home inspection Bill was available to effectively fix the few items that needed his attention. Everything is working fine and the home inspection was completed without any outstanding items. THanks Bill

This is the third or fourth time that Bill has done work for me and certainly the largest job I ever contracted him to do. The work included removing a servant's staircase and load baring wall, installing a new kitchen and bath on the main floor, flooring upstairs, and upgrading the toilet and vanity upstairs. I am extremely happy with the work. There were surprises along the way, through no fault of Bill's. I felt that Bill addressed the issues and always gave me a straight forward honest answer about what "could" be done and what "needed" to be done. The work took several months to complete, which was expected. For that reason it was extremely important to not only find a contractor who does good work but also someone I can work well with. Bill is friendly and professional. Working with Bill is great and I would not hesitate to contact him again for additional work.

We found Bill to punctual and efficient. We had several small projects such as repairs to garage door, altering closet shelving, small paint repairs. Bill was pleasant to deal with and professional. We would hire him again.

We hired Vail Renovations to do some long overdue repairs to our home in preparation for sale. Bill replaced our kitchen ceiling, installed a bulkhead in the basement and repaired the stairs and doorways. Bill did great work, was on time, on budget and a complete pleasure to work with. We hired Bill to manage our property during our four-year absence from the country. He has been extremely responsive -- always reachable by email and phone and always available to address any issues. He is very capable and resourceful, from replacing our sink to addressing water pump issues to preparing our property for the winter season. We have been impressed by his honesty and sincerity. We would highly recommend Bill both for property management and home repairs.

Made an appointment with Bill to see if what I required was feasible and cost. Bill was in the neighbourhood on another job and had sometime after leaving for the day to look at my issue.
We could not get a fridge, freezer, loveseat and sofa in my basement home that we just moved in. After back-in-forth discussion Bill removed the bottom trim and side rail of the stairs which gave us more clearance. Bill did not charge for his advice, time and the little bit of labour.

I will use Bill in the future because of his frankness and honesty.

I hired Bill to gut a partly finished basement. What was nice is that Bill took care of hauling all the garbage away instead of my having to rent a dumpster. I liked the peace of mind that all old materials would be hauled away.

Bill was pleasant to deal with. My basement is now in much better shape then it was before and I have Bill to thank for taking on the job. I am happy with the project.

Bill also set me up with some very nice wire shelving witch will provide me with much needed storage.
