We bought windows for a new 4,200 sqft home construction back in Jan 2014. Delivery was promised by Feb 4th but was delayed twice with no heads-up from the dealer in Kelowna. Very dissapointing since I've had to reschedule my installer & sub-trades each time at my expense. The windows finally arrrived at the Kelowna office 4 weeks late but with all doors still on back order. Gienow is now asking for full payment up front before any delivery to our building site. I'm very relunctant to accomodate since all my other dealings with other parts of the house has been payment upon delivery. I'm not comfortable paying an additonal $40K without seeing & inspecting the product first. When we bought the windows we made a 30% deposit. Gienow failed to mention about the required full payment before final delivery until now so we feel that we are being held hostage at this point. Had to file a complaint with the BBB. No resolution yet.
