My wife and I were seriously considering purchasing two older bungalows as our first family home. He gave an efficient and thorough review which revealed a major issue with the materials used in insulating the roof that greatly informed our decision on how much to offer on the home. Ultimately Alan's inspection also helped us make the right decision to let this home go when the sellers demanded too high a price. The first house was great and you would have enjoyed it thoroughly except for a very expensive potential issue in the attic. Bidding high numbers on a home with that looming is not an envious situation.The 2nd home also has some concerns, but more manageable and made more sense for your scenario. I am happy for you guys.
