I think this company has it all. Courteous, pleasant, prompt, intelligent service, that is very reasonably priced.
My experience with this company and the owner/technician was extremely good. He answered his own phone when I called with a problem, scheduled the visit quickly and efficiently, came on time, fixed the problem (and taught me a couple of things about fridges), and charged me less than it would cost for "Toronto Appliance Service" (who rate a low 1.7 rating on HomeStars for a reason) just to come to my house. Having an appliance breakdown can be stressful enough without having to deal with shady companies and surly staff. Cropley's had none of that, just the opposite. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

- Stay away from companies like Toronto Appliance Service, that handle loads of warranty jobs given to them by the manufacturers. This means they don't have to care about customer service to survive. The customers aren't paying, the manufacturing companies are. So customer service is irrelevant to them. Give the smaller, recommended, family type businesses your patronage. You will be much happier with the experience and the price.
