We hired Dimitry after he gave us a reasonable quote and a very short timeline in which to install our new IKEA cabinets. We agreed and he arrived promptly at the hour we had decided on.

We have a very old house with walls that are not straight - they actually curve in subtle waves. Dimitry, with Oleg, installed the cabinets in a straight manner by adding backing where it was necessary - and did not ask us for any additional payment for this. They were extremely careful with our new floors (not one scratch) and clean as they worked, setting aside extra parts we had accidentally purchased in one pile so we didn't have to sort through any boxes to know what to return. Everything was done on budget and on time (well, we forgot to purchase a few things so Dimitry had to extend by half a day, but that was on us). That brought us to a total of 3 and half days!

Dmitriy took what started as a very modular, predictable IKEA kitchen and turned it into a showpiece that has all of my friends and family WOWED!! I had some very specific design requirements which he followed and offred better ideas I added some premium, non-IKEA counters, sink, backsplash, wine fridge, commercial grade hood, built-in appliance "garage" etc and he measured and cut and retro-fitted everything to look like custom millwork.

Even more amazing, I went to Europe for 9 days, left Dmitry the key and he did most of the work while I was away, even referring me to some excellent trades for other work (plumber, electrician, dry wall, paint, etc).

He is coming back to do some additional work in my home and i recommend him unequivocally! Check out his work in photos below.

AAA+. Integrity, detailed and precise installation work. Dmitriy and partner Oleg worked like clock work, they know the IKEA product inside out, I don't think that they even needed the instructions. They removed the old kitchen in a couple of hours, assembled and installed the new in just three and a half days including countertop installation, range hood and plumbing reconnection. Excellent work all in all. If you are planning to buy an IKEA kitchen, you want New Kitchen Toronto (Dmitriy & Co.) to install it for you. Do not hesitate.

We called Newkitchentoronto.ca after realizing we did not have the expertise or tools to level our base cabinets (from Ikea) for the granite countertop we'd planned. Dmitriy came to our place a day later, on a Saturday, and quickly (after 3-4 hours) had all our base cabinets (including island) leveled and installed very securely. We were very impressed. Not only did Dmitriy do a great job, he was very friendly, and offered my husband lots of great advice on completing our "do it yourself" kitchen reno. We will be calling him again if we run into any more problems!

I've called around a few listed companies to help me to finish an Ikea kitchen that i installed myself. I got to the point were i needed a professional to install cover panels and trim pieces. Dimitry was the only one that was willing to take on a job that someone else had started(being me). Since i didn't know how i wanted to finish it yet, we decide on on hourly fee.

Dimitry was kind enough to work after hours on my house, as it was a small job for him to dedicate to it full time. Dimitry loves what he does and in his mind, there's no job is too small or too big.

Watching Dimitry work was fantastic. Knowing that a stranger was working on my house with such commitment was very comforting. Had i found Dimitry earlier, i probably would've hired him to do the entire installation.

I'm not showing what the hourly fee was, because it wouldn't be fair to both Dimitry and the reader, since it would vary on a job and.

Dmitriy and his crew did a fantastic job fitting our IKEA kitchen, they were 100% professional, punctual, polite, clean and tidy.
The work was first rate and the attention to detail meticulous. All in all a pleasure to deal with. The next time we need a new kitchen we know who we'll call first.

We decided to go with New kitchen Toronto for our recent renovation in our condominium based on the reviews and upon meeting with Dmitriy. From the beginning he was very helpful, honest and helped us with the Ikea kitchen we chose, letting us know how many rails, cover panels, trim, etc we needed to order.
His partner Sergei came to install the kitchen and he was very fast, knew the Ikea system really well and did the demolition with uttermost care to leave the backsplash and floor tile intact as these were not changing in our new design.
Our place is very small and I really have to commend Sergei for working in such a confined space without damaging anything. The kitchen installation was done really nicely, everything fitting perfectly.
The only thing i would suggest is to make sure you completely go through the whole project with both Dmitriy and Sergei, because there was a bit of a misunderstanding with some elements. As most people who have used the Ikea planning tools would know, sometimes the Ikea Kitchen Planner is not the best tool and will not allow you to resize cover panels or things like that; so make sure you go through the little details with both of them to save them extra work. Also, when i realized that the new cabinets were higher than the existing one (because there had previously been new flooring laid out that raised everything up), I asked Sergei to bring the cabinets down as much as he could to avoid having 2 different counter heights; which he did even though it involved reassembling the cabinets.

Aside from installing new cabinets, they also helped us with retrofitting an existing base cabinet in the kitchen with new doors and doing the custom work required to cover it with the new materials and fit in the new doors which were smaller and required a few custom panels.
Great job Sergei and Dmitriy, we are really enjoying our new kitchen.

I cannot say enough about what a pleasure it has been working with Dmitriy. The cabinet installation they did for us was perfect, done very quickly, and at a very reasonable price.

He and Sergei were very friendly, and professional during the job. And besides being very good at what they do, one of the things I liked immediately about Dmitriy was the fact that he is great at communication - answers his phone immediately, returns messages promptly, and shows up when he says he will. This alone made him stand out. If he only built decks and did basements, and staircases, he'd be working with us for the next 5 years!
We loved both him and Sergei. I strongly recommend new kitchen toronto, and hope to work with them again soon.

Dmitriy did a great job with our cabinet installation. He was extremely helpful in our kitchen reno from start to finish. He is experienced with the whole IKEA thing. It's NOT as easy as they would make you think. There are plenty of problems you will run into and Dmitriy is very good at giving you a heads up on them and helping to resolve issues you encounter from ordering, to getting the parts you actually ordered to making a few alterations to your plan along the way.
As an experienced and skilled cabinet maker as well, his suggestions and guidance in finalizing plans are also a big help.
I was doing a lot of the other work myself and contracted out some of the finer trades work and he was able to both work with and around them as well as keep an eye out for any potential problems.
Dmitriy worked quickly and didn't disappear for days on end as some guys will do. He is also very aware of cost and shared some great money saving ideas and was very careful not to waste materials and reuse what might normally be tossed as scrap. We had a good deal of returns and cash back on panels and parts ikea said we needed that Dmitriy showed as unnecessary in doing a good solid install.
He also did some custom work demonstrating excellent care and craftsmanship and also did a magic corner cabinet install.
His rate was very good providing excellent value and service for what he charged. He was very upfront about costs with no sneaky little extras or hidden costs whatsoever. Even when encountering the odd unexpected snag here or there he just took care of it all as promised.
There is always some concern about strangers in you home but Dmitriy (and his assistant) were punctual, trustworthy, friendly and easygoing for the whole job.
Ours was a total gut from drywall in and it was complete in 3 weeks start to finish. Dmitriy's NewKitchenToronto was key in making that happen.
He can easily handle any size cabinet installation/build in an independent and professional manner. If you are the type of person who likes to be involved in their own reno you will save HUGE if you can get guys like this on the job. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen. The look, the functionality and the cost all surpassed our expectations.

I bought a new IKEA kitchen for my recently purchased condo. The problem was to remove the old cabinets with minimal walls damage and install new ones. Following advice of our friend I invited this company to take care about all this. The old kitchen was removed withing working day with no problem and complaints from condo management. They advised a good contractor for cosmetic fixing walls, electrician and plumber and when this guys finished, kitchen was installed. I watched how they doing and did not find anything what I wouldn't like. I have very good impression of their job and qualification. I already advised my friend to invite this company for his kitchen renovation and I know he was happy too.
