Hossain is a Licenced Electrician with solid experience. He and his assistant did all the electrical for our kitchen reno. This included pot light installation, other overhead lighting install, rewire switching, upgrade breakers and wiring for oven and cooktop, GFCI outlets, removal of old and redundant wiring etc. They also were willing to solve a problem with a faulty 3 way switch and change a bathroom exhaust fan (both sounded like trivial tasks but his experience came in handy as both were more complicated than expected). He stood by his very reasonable estimate (though we decided to through in some extra for some expenses and all the extra time he put in). When completed there were still a couple of connections to be done after appliance and counter install which he offered to return to take care of for us at no extra cost. Hossain was pleasant, trustworthy and did a good job for us at a really good price.

Dmitriy did a great job with our cabinet installation. He was extremely helpful in our kitchen reno from start to finish. He is experienced with the whole IKEA thing. It's NOT as easy as they would make you think. There are plenty of problems you will run into and Dmitriy is very good at giving you a heads up on them and helping to resolve issues you encounter from ordering, to getting the parts you actually ordered to making a few alterations to your plan along the way. As an experienced and skilled cabinet maker as well, his suggestions and guidance in finalizing plans are also a big help. I was doing a lot of the other work myself and contracted out some of the finer trades work and he was able to both work with and around them as well as keep an eye out for any potential problems. Dmitriy worked quickly and didn't disappear for days on end as some guys will do. He is also very aware of cost and shared some great money saving ideas and was very careful not to waste materials and reuse what might normally be tossed as scrap. We had a good deal of returns and cash back on panels and parts ikea said we needed that Dmitriy showed as unnecessary in doing a good solid install. He also did some custom work demonstrating excellent care and craftsmanship and also did a magic corner cabinet install. His rate was very good providing excellent value and service for what he charged. He was very upfront about costs with no sneaky little extras or hidden costs whatsoever. Even when encountering the odd unexpected snag here or there he just took care of it all as promised. There is always some concern about strangers in you home but Dmitriy (and his assistant) were punctual, trustworthy, friendly and easygoing for the whole job. Ours was a total gut from drywall in and it was complete in 3 weeks start to finish. Dmitriy's NewKitchenToronto was key in making that happen. He can easily handle any size cabinet installation/build in an independent and professional manner. If you are the type of person who likes to be involved in their own reno you will save HUGE if you can get guys like this on the job. We are extremely happy with our new kitchen.
