Dimitry turned around my attempt to install an Ikea kitchen and quickly got it back on track and looking great. He's a lifesaver and a real professional. He absolutely knows what he is doing, and importantly, knows the peculiarities of an Ikea kitchen, the configurations, what they stock and what kind of cabinet, panel or trim will look best where, (despite what the kids at Ikea may have sold you). If you are thinking of or have purchased an Ikea kitchen, I'd suggest you talk to Dimitry before you start putting it up, or even better, before you purchase. In the end he will save you lots of time and money and the kitchen will look great.

- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- I thought I was reasonably handy and able to tackle this job, especially with the sales bunk from Ikea. However, unless you are truly very handy and skilled and probably an engineer with a garage full of specialized tools, I'd suggest you think twice about doing it yourself. You may be able to install it, but installing properly and professionally is something else.
