Jay and his team fully gutted and renovated our downtown 1880s-era Victorian.
He and his crew are efficient, hard-working, and pleasant. Jay provided great ideas to help move things forward. He kept the project very much on schedule even when we had a large scope change. We left the house for a little more than four months. From demolition and roof extension through to finishing, at no point did the project stall.
They came back one year later to touch up any scuffs, and to check on the work after all of the new framing had settled.
Jay and his crew are very experienced. They dealt with the various surprises that come with opening up the walls in a very old house. They are experienced with the realities of dealing with downtown Toronto from the difficulty in parking and getting deliveries, to working well with the various city permit inspectors.
Our family feels really lucky to have a beautiful like-new home. We have spent so much time in the home in 2020 and love it. We won't need to do any more significant work on this house, but if we had to do it all again we would not hesitate to work with Jay.
