On time. Efficient. Friendly. Was able to fit me in for the flooring job at such notice and completed job earlier than expected. Andrei was communicative throughout. His staff was also friendly and both completed task as asked of. Very honest and reasonable rate.

Andrei and his team were extremely professional. They removed all the carpet in my house and replaced it with luxury vinyl, which Andrei provided several samples to select from. They also removed the carpet from all our stairs and replaced it with brand new oak treads and risers and stained them to match the floor. They also left the place extremely clean and I had no trouble working with them as they finished exactly in the timeline he suggested. My fiancé and I are extremely happy with the place. Andrei also quoted us at the most fair price for our stairs to be redone where other contractors were asking for unaffordable rates making it even better that they did a fantastic job at the price we could afford.

We just purchased a 1950s story-and-a-half and were looking for someone to refinish the oak strip flooring. We found Tip Top Flooring on Home Stars. Andrei was great to work with from the initial communication to the finished product. He came to the house and asked us what we had in mind and what we were hoping for in the end. He went over the different options, from the most economical (which is what I initially wanted, but which wouldn't have given us the finished product we were hoping for), to several other options. He didn't try to up-sell us, but gave us realistic options and explained what the end finish would be with each. He provided us with a couple of different quotes for the two best options that we discussed. After an initial delay (caused by closures due to Covid19), Andrei and his crew were able to start the job and the end result is beautiful- exactly what we were hoping for. The floors, stairs and banister all look like new. Andrei was a pleasure to work with- honest, professional, prompt in his communications and he stuck to his quote. The quality of work was excellent and the price was great. We have recommended him to a relative and a friend who are looking to have their floors done. Now we can move in and enjoy.

We had stairs and bedroom refinished after having a failed job done by another contractor that would not stand behind their work. Andrei and his team came and refinished our floor and it looks fantastic. If you want perfection this is the team I trust, they tape off rooms and doorways to keep dust out and they clean up when finished. We are extremely happy.

I really enjoyed working with Andrei and Tip Top flooring. They were punctual, easy to communicate with and they finished the floor exactly how I wanted it.
We decided to redo the floor completely and Andrei was quick to accommodate the request and work with our deadline. The removal of the old hardwood flooring and installation was fast. I requested a specific black stain and high gloss finish and it turned out amazing.

I'm thrilled with the work of Tip Top Flooring—they truly did an impeccable job with the flooring installation in my condo. My existing flooring needed to be removed and replaced due to some unfortunate water damage, and in advance I found the scope of the project intimidating and overwhelming, especially with the added inconvenience of having to work around the furniture in my condo unit and condo rules and regulations. Andrei not only calmed my anxiety about the project and made it seem far more approachable, but his attention to detail was also immediately evident in my consultation with him—and his team's work lives up to his high standards. Andrei had managed to fit me into the schedule on relatively short notice, but I'd ordered my flooring through another company and there were unforeseen issues with delivery which unexpectedly pushed back the start of installation. Andrei remained remarkably patient and flexible throughout the delay. Work still began quickly and was completed within three working days. Also worth noting, the estimate was competitive and they came in on budget. Andrei was consistently prompt and exceedingly helpful in responding to my questions and communications, and I'm grateful to he and his team not only for their excellent workmanship, but also the many ways they made an intimidating project and disruptive process much easier to navigate and live through (even if it was only three days!)

Wonderful experience with this company and highly skilled installers. They completed the 800 sq/ft job in 8 hours. I was impressed with both their dedication to details and the efforts they made to have the floor merge flush with the 3 different existing natural stone floors. Despite this being a century home with unlevel substrates the managed a seemless installation. Would highly recommend this company and gladly employ them in the future.
