Convertible Heating And Air Conditioning

My A/C stopped working in the summer and I decided to go without until my furnace died, which it did this fall just as temperatures dropped. I called for an estimate on a Sunday, had an in-home estimate completed on Tuesday by Chris and had a new furnace and A/C installed on the Friday by Rick and Bill. Chris patiently explained the rebate option and energy audit process for this newbie. Rick and Bill did a great job and were quite patient and forgiving (they arrived earlier than expected and I had spent the night at my parents because I was cold.) I've already recommended Convertible Air to a friend.

I would like to start by thanking Michael (HVAC Consultant) from Convertible Air for his professionalism, kind manner, and quick, knowledgeable responses. After numerous obstacles in regards to the job needing to be done, most other Heating and Air Conditioning companies were unable to find a solution and get the job done. Kemar and Eric from Convertible Air took on the job with confidence. They were always very polite and they answered all the questions we had as they worked. They are 2 of the most professional HVAC installers you will ever meet. We were very satisfied with the work they did and will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

My sister had her furnace replaced and recommended Convertible. I contacted Michael who gave us a fair quote and was able to arrange speedy installation the day after we confirmed the order. Dieter did a great job of installing our Amana furnace and all in all it was a painless experience. Thanks again!

This is actually the second time Chris has come to our home to quote. Several years ago we thought we would be fortunate to install Natural Gas. Chris did an awesome job looking for conversion kits and equipment. Unfortunately Natural gas pipes were out of the budget.

Years later we could not wait any longer to upgrade the furnace and air conditioner. After the great service provide to my mother and brother, we only called on place for a quote. Two business later they were here to install and we are thrilled with the service.

Our heat exchanger cracked in our old furnace and we decided to purchase a new furnace rather than put any $$ into our old one. We had the company we dealt with for our maintenance plan come out and quote us for a new furnace. Their quote was exceptionally high so I decided to look on homestars for another company to quote us on the project.
Convertible had a great rating with lots of reviews and also provided feedback back to the reviewers comments so it was a no brainer to call them to come out.
Marnie came out to give us a quote and walked us through the difference between the furnaces explaining things in a very easy to understand manner. Convertible beat the other company's quote by a long shot so of course we went with them for the installation.
The installation went great and they even assisted me in installing my new thermostat !
I found when reading the reviews that it was hard to determine the approximate price for a furnace that I may need as there wasn't always details in the review of the home and furnace so I'm adding my information so it may help someone else estimate. My home has a walk out basement with an in-law suite and is well over 4000 square feet of living space.

I would most definitely recommend Convertible to anyone looking for a new furnace installation.
