Our heat exchanger cracked in our old furnace and we decided to purchase a new furnace rather than put any $$ into our old one. We had the company we dealt with for our maintenance plan come out and quote us for a new furnace. Their quote was exceptionally high so I decided to look on homestars for another company to quote us on the project. Convertible had a great rating with lots of reviews and also provided feedback back to the reviewers comments so it was a no brainer to call them to come out. Marnie came out to give us a quote and walked us through the difference between the furnaces explaining things in a very easy to understand manner. Convertible beat the other company's quote by a long shot so of course we went with them for the installation. The installation went great and they even assisted me in installing my new thermostat ! I found when reading the reviews that it was hard to determine the approximate price for a furnace that I may need as there wasn't always details in the review of the home and furnace so I'm adding my information so it may help someone else estimate. My home has a walk out basement with an in-law suite and is well over 4000 square feet of living space. I would most definitely recommend Convertible to anyone looking for a new furnace installation. Our house is quite large.
