Convertible Heating And Air Conditioning

After a horrible experience with a large, well-known company (one which prompted us to file a complaint at the Better Business Bureau), we contacted Convertible Heating & Air Conditioning about 2 months ago to investigate replacing the tankless water heater servicing our high-efficiency heating system. At the time, it was encouraging that Convertible was also a BBB member but one that had glowing reviews from its customers, so we requested a free estimate.

In fact, our sales representative, Sean, scheduled 2 free on-site inspections/estimates, researched our furnace`s specifications with its manufacturer, collaborated with us in finding the right solution for our needs, and adjusted the workorder and invoice to reflect our customizations. I particularly liked Sean’s diligence, professionalism and concern, as well as Convertible`s quality product offerings and wide range of financing options.

We installed a Navien system a week ago, once we were thoroughly satisfied with our selection and the other company was ready to remove the rental unit. Dieter, the installer, contacted us promptly upon notification of the removal and arrived soon after. Although challenged by some aspects of the job, such as being drenched in water from his installation efforts, having to replace a stripped thread, and needing to redirect an already sealed exhaust termination, he recovered remarkably well, enough to complete the job within a reasonable amount of time, given the circumstances.

Overall, despite a few minor administrative and technical difficulties, the installation went quite well. More importantly, the amount of resources devoted to us and our limited space demonstrates Convertible’s commitment to customer service and satisfaction, unlike the other company, a large company with serious flaws.

As a result, thus far, we are quite pleased with our choice of company and product. I regret being unable to issue a perfect rating, in this case, but I highly recommend Convertible. The system has been working quite well for over a week now. And, although we won’t know how well, until we start using our furnace, we anticipate no trouble. We had a much less efficient system installed before, and we received a free model upgrade from Convertible’s supplier, due to lack of inventory, so I think we`re finally settled.
