Versatile Renovations

There are many contractors in Calgary who do bathroom renovations. We chose Versatile Renovations after reading the positive reviews on Home Stars and getting several estimates from others. From the first meeting with Mark and cabinet maker Sam we were impressed with the positive attitude exhibited. In discussing the design it became clear that Mark and company had the skills we were looking for. From those first impressions through to completion of the project, we were never once disappointed. Versatile Renovations is a down-to-earth contractor that puts the needs of their customers first. From the way they structure their estimates, to the speed with which they complete the work, to their attention to detail, and the consideration they show homeowners, Versatile is the best contractor we have ever dealt with.
In estimating the job, Versatile clearly delineated the cost of doing the work from the cost of the various materials required, leaving the latter to our personal choice and expense. They then picked up our chosen components (tiles, fixtures, furnishings etc.) in a timely manner for a very reasonable fee. It is commendable that all suppliers we dealt with had very positive things to say about Versatile Renovations.
Demolition day went very smoothly with them bringing in extra workers to tackle that big job. At the end of the process, all materials were trucked away leaving a clean work site. Then the rebuilding started with a talented, hard-working three-man crew, Michael, Ivan and Dennis. Mark kept tabs on the job every day. Michaels skills as the on-site leader were exceptional. He is expert at framing, drywalling, electrical, plumbing, and more. Ivan and Dennis worked quickly at tiling, plastering and sanding with eyes for perfection. They were in and out in two weeks.
Throughout the process, Trista in the office kept everything happening on schedule. She was in constant contact with all suppliers and made sure everything needed was on site and that we were happy with the job they were doing.
Versatile Renovations is a very well-organized family run business. It is with no hesitation that we highly recommend them to anyone contemplating a renovation.
