I want to thank OGC for their patience with my home construction and their wonderful work. The contractors with this company were remarkably flexible when it came to things we wanted to change in the plans in the middle of construction. They seemed to genuinely care that we got the home we really wanted.

I hired OGC for a two-part project renovating my bathroom and kitchen. I didn’t commit to the kitchen until the bathroom was done, but the kitchen was the majority of the budget, and the more elaborate work, so this review is mostly about that. The kitchen renovation covered the entire room, cabinets, sinks, floors and everything else. I brought my own plans but included some of their suggestions to capture the looks I wanted (Ocean-inspired with deep blues and a lot of clear glass features). The execution was amazing, better than I hoped for really. There was clear attention to detail in all of the features, and my instructions had been followed explicitly. Crews like this can be hard to find.

My husband and I would both like to say how happy we were with the work that we got from the Ottawa General contractors. Andrew Nick and the rest of the design team created the original concept for turning our attic into a living space, and I was in love with the designs from the very beginning. They did a great job fitting in the new stairs to the attic in a way that wouldn’t disrupt the rest of the home.

The masterful quality of the work was more than worth the premium cost. My renovation included some custom woodwork on the exposed beams in my living room. I am amazed at what the specialists they chose were able to pull off. It’s everything I wanted and more.

We had a complete gut-and-replace of our en suite bathroom. We worked with OGC last year when we redid two bathrooms, a laundry room, and the front foyer, so we already trusted them and knew that we would get a good value. Just to be sure we shopped around for quotes with other major renovators and theirs was still the most reasonable. The OGC staff found us better deals on materials than we had been able to find, they worked hard to accommodate all of our preferences and always made our feedback and questions feel welcome. They did excellent work, were clean and courteous, and we absolutely love our new bathroom. The only down side is that the reno took longer than we had initially planned, but I've never once heard of a reno that didn't, so I don't hold that against them. We will be working with them again when we do our kitchen down the road.

We just finished a complete master bathroom renovation with Ottawa General Contractors. We chose them over others due to their personal and professional approach to find the right solution for our budget. Their commitment to communication throughout the project was excellent and gave us peace of mind that they would deliver what they said they would within the time and budget they promised. The quality of the project manger was excellent (we communicated almost daily to manage expectations) and we are extremely happy with the end product. The project finished within a few days of what was planned and there was no major surprises. We would have no hesitation in recommending OGC to others for major home renovation projects.

Ottawa general contractors added a new story onto our home, and made several recommendations that made our new home offices far better. The placement and type of windows being used in the offices in was one part where they improved on our original vision. My husband was also pleased with the storage space they built in his.

The first thing my husband and I did was to look up reviews for contractors . Ottawa General Contractors had wonderful reviews and they certainly lived up to them. The most important requirement was that the work had to be within our budget. Ottawa General Contractors worked hard to fulfil that requirement.Another important factor with Ottawa General Contractors was the people. They are just amazing! Every single person along with the tradespeople were first class. There was not one unpleasant incident. They showed up when scheduled, did the work efficiently and left a clean workspace.The project manager showed up every day to check the site. Ottawa General Contractors had set their budget to meet our budget but since we managed to find less expensive alternatives e.g.laminate as opposed to Quartz, we got a refund! Thanks to the wonderful, patient people at Ottawa General Contractors, Nick, Dan, James, Maria and Farrah. We couldn't have done it without you!

Gutted the kitchen, redid the floors on the entire main level and opened up some doorways.

Working with OGC was great. From the initial consult with Nick, seeing the 3d renderings with James and then finally kicking off the demolition with Brad. Everyone was always where they needed to be at the right time and were ready to answer any questions about the project at any time of the day. All the workers in and out of the house were very curious, professional and did a stellar job.

I would hire OGC to work on any other part of the house and will be recommending them to friends and family.
