Daimon's crew rebuilt a stone retaining wall that was 50' long and up to 4' high. The 10-yr old original was bulging out and in danger of collapse. While other contractors seemed stumped about how to fix it, Ashlar dismantled the old wall with a minimum of damage to the garden behind it, rebuilt it with a proper step-back and drainage, and managed to re-use the old materials. The wall has been through one winter and looks ready for many more. They also partially rebuilt the front step to the house. For this and the wall, I appreciated their willingness to reuse existing materials and design; there was no pressure to rip everything out and start from scratch.
