WOW...where do I start? After having another well-known plumbing company rated on this site come and "check out" my furnace for not running yesterday, they gave me a quote for anywhere from 784.00 to MAYBE fix furnace, to $2272.00 to FOR SURE fix it. Overlimit heat sensor acted up because of a dirty air filter. I told them I wanted to get another quote. When they guy left he said it probably wouldn't keep running for long.
So last night I called Brent at Shiftair, and he promptly arrived at 8:30AM this morning. After spending an hour checking the system out, and REPLACING the heat limit switch he charged me a TOTAL of $213.00 including travel, service call, labor, AND the heat switch !! So by calling Shiftair, I paid $213.00 INSTEAD of $2272.00 !!! Now THAT is what I call a difference in quotes !!
Brent also showed me where the technician yesterday had cut one of the power wires off under the furnace, so the fan would stop after he left. Hmmm....BBB or Homestars....I think I've said it all here.
I 100% recommend this company !! I've got enough left over for a VERY LARGE steak dinner tonight. Great job Brent
