Tony Devlin paid great attention to detail in rebuilding our chimney by matching the replacement brick as closely as possible to the existing structure. He described the process in detail when inspecting our property and educated us about the rebuild and tuckpointing. After completing the job Tony and his associate were meticulous in cleaning our property. Price was within range of other estimate solicited for this project. The craftsmanship and skill in communicating gave us confidence in this undertaking--a neat, lasting job that enhances the value of our home.

I needed one chimmney tuck pointed and capped since it was leaking in the basement and I needed another unused chimmney removed. Tony was great to deal with. He provided a prompt, reasonable estimate and did the work on time. Also did an excellent job of cleaning up after. This last rainstorm has proved that the work was definitely weather tight - not a leak in the basement anywhere!

We have an old semi-detached victorian with some bricks around the base and mid-way up the first floor that were decaying or starting to show their (over 110 year old) age, so we called Tony to come over take a look. He turned up on time, gave us a very reasonable estimate within a couple of days, and returned soon after to complete the job. He gave us a choice of replacement brick colours, and the new bricks fit right in with the original ones. The job was done quickly, with no mess. I would definitely recommend Tony to friends and family.

I had crumbling bricks on the sills outside 4 different windows. i had called a variety of Masonry companies and none of them would even come look at the problem because it wasn't a big enough job. I contacted Tony through homestars for advice on a garage/shed that did not have a solid foundation. I wanted to have the one exposed side of it refinished with brick veneer or brick. After emailing Tony, he emailed me back quickly and made arrangements to come and see it. After spending quite some time with me explaining my best and worst options, I decided not to proceed because brick would likely not have been the best choice for this project. Notwithstanding, I cannot recommend Tony enough for the invaluable honesty and advice he gave me for this project. He was very professional and I was all around impressed. I would highly recommend him.

Tony was responsive to questions, showed up on time and executed the job within the estimated time frame. There were a few unexpected issues with replacing some old damaged concrete block and he showed me what was involved and did not charge extra for the labour. The work area was cleaned up afterwards and both men worked steadily throughout the five days it took to complete the porch. They did a beautiful job.
