This was the move from hell! While Ana's packing and Hamid's crew were supremely professional, our move was totally misquoted. We'd engaged the company following a referral from friends, whose job was on time and budget. We had no reason to believe that the company's quote would be anything but professional. The estimate we received for packing was 4-5 hours and it took 8 (the company agreed to discount an hour of this time). The move was way worse. A 9-hour estimate turned into 20 hours and cost twice the quote. The job started at 9am, with none of the promised wardrobe boxes and finished at 5am the following morning, when everyone concerned was exhausted. There were no additonal boxes to make up for the shortfall from packing day. My husband had no choice but to work as an extra crew member, when it became clear that this was a 4-5-man job and the company refused to send an additonal member of staff to supplement the three-man crew. Following the move, our phone calls to the company and requests for an explanation/ apology/ compensation were bounced from one employee to another. After repeated calls, the owner ("who was too busy chasing new business to talk to us earlier") eventually called us two weeks later to tell us we'd got a great deal, that he had lost money and that we were ruining his Father's Day. He maintained that we'd got a great price (twice the quote) they hadn't walked off the job when it took longer than quoted and said "there was just a mistake on the estimate." It didn't seem to matter that both his customers and his staff had worked an exhausting 20 hour day. Not only would I not recommend this moving company, I would actively discourage you from engaging them.
