Danny (City 1 Roof Works) is very helpful and approachable. I need to reroof my home and need to do it fast. Danny stopped by and gave me an estimate after which did the job in a very short period of time. He helps providing selection of shingles and all of the necessaries supplies. He performed the job very well and left the property in clean condition after the job. I am very happy with City 1 Roof Works, definitely worth considering.

This was a small roofing job that required replacing a few missing shingles. Most of the roofing companies I contacted would not even come out to do such a small job. But, fortunately for us, Danny came out and gave me a fair price to replace the shingles and also check if the roof needed other maintenance. His crew came and did a great job! So professional and honest. I knew within 5 seconds of meeting Danny and his crew that this was a great company with great people. Such a rarity these days. Thanks again!!!! Excellent job by Danny and crew. Showed up on time, did everything as contracted and good cleanup afterwards. Their price was middle of the pack, but I've seen some of the work done by the low-enders and there is no comparison. What was especially important to me was dealing with someone whom I instantly felt I could trust. I would have no hesitation recommending City 1 to anyone looking to have their roof done. We are extremely pleased with our new shingles and the overall job. I had estimates from three companies and we chose City1roofworks though it was not the lowest. Danny's experience and upfront approach impressed us and recommended the shingles that suit our needs. They arrived early and finished the entire job in slightly over a day. Everything was done safely and they cleaned up the entire place and took away the trash at end of the day.
The workers were knowledgeable and courteous throughout. Danny and his business partner ensured that we were happy with the new flashing being installed against the shingles. We would highly recommend the company for the work quality, ethics and business professionalism to anyone.

We found City -1-Roof-Works through HomeStars after a wind storm removed a number of our shingles. Danny responded within 24 hours of us contacting him to do a temporary repair. Based on his quick response and very competitive quote, we chose City-1-Roof-Works for our new roof. We are very pleased with the installation by Danny and his team. Danny was very professional throughout the estimating and installation phases of the job. He delivered everything he promised without any issues. Just as importantly, he delivered when he promised too. The entire job from start to finish took only two days. He and his team did an excellent job of cleaning up after the work. I would not hesitate to recommend Danny and his team to anyone.

The job was for a roof replacement for a semi - taking down 3 layers of shingles and slate plus redoing two flat roofs with six layers of cover. The estimate from City 1 was very detailed and involved Danny and his team going up onto the roof to confirm condition and determine number of layers. Because of the proximity to the neighbouring houses, it was very important that care be taken to protect them from any damage especially from the slates. The work done was great, on schedule, and on estimate with no damage to either our house or the neighbours'. Clean-up was done at the end of every day with a thorough clean-up at the end. Danny and Chuck and the rest of the team were a pleasure to work with and very responsive to questions.

We are very pleased with the new roof on our old house. The crew of roofers were courteous and hardworking. The property/yard was left immaculate condition at the end of each working day, and at the end of the job. Our neighbours were also impressed by the crew and told us that they took down the name of the company should they or anyone they know require a new roof.

Over the last year I found roofing debris on my driveway and lawn. After some high winds a month ago I found two dozen pieces strewn about my property and the roadway. I called a few roofing companies for quotes and all were pretty much at par in terms of products and cost. I closed my eyes, pretty much, and picked the roofers. I chose City1. They started the job earlier than expected, which was a sigh of relief. They installed a 50 year product with a great profile. It was worth the extra few hundred dollars, since they were already up there, why not? I can't say enough about Danny and Chuck. These guys are professionals through and through. Great friendly service and knowledge to back it up. I am extremely pleased. I would spread their roofing gospel to anyone looking to find great, honest and hardworking roofers. We had a leak in the ceiling and within 2 weeks of shopping around and deciding on City 1 Roof Works the work began. I wanted to completely remove the plywood base of the flat roof but City 1 Roof said they would only do so if it warranted it in order to save me money. What was especially nice was the cost to replace and remove the plywood was just a little above the cost of the plywood itself. I also needed the insulation upgraded for the energy rebate. Since the roof is flat City 1 suggested a sloped insulation product that guarantees that the water won't pool and gave me my R24 rating.

They provided near daily photos of their work since I couldn't always be there to go and watch them work. When they needed to replace anything like the plywood and skylight they made sure I saw why the work needed to be done with photos. It was also helpful to have the photos when applying for the energy audit.

City 1 was efficient, courteous, and clean. They slipped and stepped through the ceiling but made sure the repair work was done professionally.

Danny & Chuck were great very professional & did a great job on installing
a vent for the washroom & also checked my flat roof & advise me that it was still good for a few years .My roof was done 4 years ago by these guys & not an issue with it & looks great no loose shigles .Also Danny & chuck pointed out some work i could do on mi chimeny & on the downspot on the flat roof they told me the names of product to buy & how to do it .I dont thing many people would advise you of issues that they were not to look at but they di look around they roof & checked eveything & Chuck even sealed the pipe from the water tank that is on the roof for no extra charges .These guys are great & honest this is who i like to deal with their are here to do the correct job at a great cost .Will defenatly use them again & recommen them to anyone .They know we all work hard for our money just like them .Thank you Danny & Chuck for installing the vent in shorth notice .
