Country Green Homes is the absolute worst home builder I have ever delt with. I've had nothing but problems. Where do I start. The quality of there finish carpentry is embarrassing. All the door trim in the house is just primered, they haven't bothered to finish the painting. The tub in the master bath has leaked on 3 different occasions. How many times do have to come back before you get it right!! I've been waiting months for them to COME BACK and finish painting the ceilings in the kitchen, bathroom and mud room. When you go to hang a new light in your bathroom and you can't find an electrical box to attach it to, and all you see are wires just hanging there. HOW SAFE IS THAT??? Trying to get them to come and fix the issues we have takes months. I'm better off doing it myself. Then I think to myself...I just spent $300,000 I shouldn't have to. When you visit their web site it says things like "superior", and "award winning". How can you consider yourself to be those things when you cant even finish painting door trim!!! If you own a home building company don't you think you would want the sub trades that you hire to be professionals. Are they even licenced??? What does that say about the Hamilton city inspectors as well. They only care about quantity not quality. If you ask me that's unexceptable, considering your dealing with hundreds of thousands of dollars of peoples hard earned money. How they can be proud of themselves and the product they put out is beyond me. I would never recommend Country Green Homes to anyone looking to build a house or townhome. (02-02-11)
