Replacing Clay pipes (roots)

We had a flooding issue in our basement; so, we called AnTa. Steve and Rob arrived shortly after we made the call. Steve explained everything very clearly so we would understand what was happening (without making us feel unintelligent). They snaked the drain and within minutes knew what we needed and how to fix it.

We are new homeowners and this is the first time we have dealt with a major home renovation. It might sound corny but I picked AnTa over another company because we felt like they actually cared and empathized with the situation we were in.

Rob completed installation of new PVC pipes, reapplied cement, and cleaned up the entire area in a day and a half. They were very clean and courteous…never wanting to inconvenience us (even if it was easier for them). They saved my tile floor; I will forever be grateful for that!

Thank you again, Steve, Rob and I didn’t catch the name of the third guy.

P.S. Rob, tell your co-worker -- the Cat came back shortly after you guys left. :)

Approximate cost of services:
$4,300.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Don't let the cat out (jk).
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Call AnTa, they will layout all your opinions from full pipe replacment as a permanent solution to just dealing with fixing the currently sitution causing the back up. Either way you will know the problem and you can go on from there.

Company Response

Thank you, Lori and Heather for such a "warm" review! "Cats and Dogs" are part of our work, we had a job at the house where the cat was sitting all day right beside the plumber and controlling every movement of his hand :) We called him PLUMBING INSPECTOR! We are very happy that our crew’ve done nice and clean job, and your plumbing system is back to normal condition. Be aware that once in a couple years camera inspection will be helpful and saves a lot of many (preventive maintenance). Try to put oily, greasy left over from cooking not to the sink drain but to your garbage bucket. With "warm" wishes to your family Anta Plumbing Team.
