By the way, have a great time on your vacation :) Drain pipe has to be checked periodically (once in a five years) to avoid roots infiltration, soil settlement, connections breakage. We use cameras which specially designed to check the condition of the pipe from inside. Unique equipment needs a lot of experience to be helpful. Out plumbers are trained to make right diagnostics. Not every plumber knows the underground structure, a lot of plumbers cannot even assist customer when they meet drain problem. We train licensed plumbers to use unique equipment; draw the drain structure underground, technicians has to work many years with drain pipes underground before they will start to make diagnoses.
