Patio, front walk and driveway runners

Good, Bad and Ugly
Let me start from the good part - Precision Interlocking is closed for busyness and will not perform any hack jobs anymore.
Now, the bad part. They had no scheduling and planning whatsoever. We signed papers in mid-may with promise to do the job end-June, beginning of July. Guys showed up in last days of July with 3-hours notice - quick call – “Crew is on their way, will be there this afternoon”. Luckily I can take time off this way, most people can’t. We tried to accommodate workers in hot summer day by all means – cold water, juices etc. – happy people work better. Happy people are trying to keep customers happy. Not true for Precision Interlocking and the owner Alex Oliveira. His business model seems to be “grab money and run”. After I called him trying to fix the problems they left behind I was getting same story:
- Really busy now, call me Friday
- Really busy, call me Monday
- Really busy, flying to NY for wedding party, call me Monday
- We are closed for the year, call me in Spring
- We are just closed forever.
At the end I was offering Alex to pay hourly rate to send somebody (he had couple of good guys and handful of kids who were seeing interlocking jobs first time in their life and were good only with wheelbarrows) but he still would did not help me. My project is not completed 10 month later and I cannot finish my porch and frontyard.
I dealt with many contractors before and never had a problem with people returning to their jobs and “putting icing on the cake”. Extra 1-2 hours spent on $10K project will not change your bottom line but will leave another happy customer and generate few future references. Not with Precision Interlocking.
Now, the ugly part - Precision Interlocking is closed for busyness and people expecting “2 years warranty” are on their own. No warranty whatsoever. Also, BBB rate them “F” and warns that Precision Interlocking is not registered with BBB and misusing BBB name. But that is does not matter because Precision Interlocking is closed for busyness.

Approximate cost of services:
$7,000.00
