Hired the owner of this company to do a complete floor clean, colour seal and tile replacement at out home. Quoted the job for us, we made arrangements to start and he began to increase the amount as he did the job

Started the job with a $50 tile replacement that turned into $150! My family and I headed out for the estimated two hour job-When we arrived home he had pulled up the tiles but had not blocked the vents, hadn't used drop sheets....Our 3100 square foot home was a sand storm of dust!! Every inch of the upper bedrooms, every table, every baby toy, blind, wall EVERYTHING was covered in layers of grout dust.

I shared how upset I was-he was learning the job and 'didn't think of the dust'. My husband and I went to work, stripping couches, carpet and EVERY THING apart to clean the dust while Tyler fixed the tiles.

We did not want to have him continue with the grout seal and consulted many other companies around Kitchener and even as far as the Peel Region-In the end, CMS offered to come back and discount us or clean our carpets. We decided to go ahead with the job-Tyler worked from 9:30am-11pm on our grout colour seal-He still ran into a few problems, needing to do a double quote, and we had to discuss money and cost again but the bottom line was that he offered a quote and would now have to honour that.

At the end of the long day out floor did look AMAZING! They're brand new and very nice so I would tell friends to hire CMS, I would only caution that you pay what you're quoted for, nothing more. And even after the dust disaster, CMS was worth every penny! Tyler had an incredible work ethic! He hardly stopped and I would have preferred he take more breaks as he was bent over for 14 hours working on our grout! He came through in the end and we were impressed.

Hired the 'owner' of this company to do a complete floor clean, colour seal and tile replacement at out home. Quoted the job for us, we made arrangements to start and he began to increase the amount as he did the job.....I've spoken to many customers of his and this seems to be the way he works, ripping stuff apart and then saying he'll continue the job for 'X' amount of money.

Started the job with a $50 tile replacement that turned into $150! My family and I headed out for the estimated two hour job (Tyler was supposed to arrive at 2pm and showed up at 4pm, his second time late for appointments with us!) When we arrived home he had pulled up the tiles but had not blocked a single vent, had not used a single drop sheet....Our 3100 square foot home was a sand storm of dust!! Every inch of the upper bedrooms, every table, every baby toy, blind, wall EVERYTHING was covered in layers of grout dust.

I shared how upset I was with Tyler-He calmly (and uncaringly) claimed that he was learning the job and 'didn't think of the dust' and 'I guess we live and learn'. He then stated he was doing my family a favour for fixing the tiles as that's not something he even does!! THEN WHY TELL ME OTHERWISE, I would have hired a PROFESSIONAL! I should have kicked him out of our home without pay but my husband and I are good people. We went to work, stripping couches, carpet and EVERY THING apart to clean the dust while Tyler continued to attempt to fix the tile. It was 11pm before he finished and the job was TERRIBLE!!! Uneven tile and the grout was the wrong colour, the grout not even smooth! We hired this guy instead of doing it ourselves so that we would have more family time and not have to worry about the repair-Looks like we just spent two days cleaning and still have another day or two before the dust is gone from the surfaces of our home.

Please do not hire this company, Tyler is a talker and will tell you what you want to hear! Even after seeing how devastated I was about the state of my HOME, Tyler continued to talk and talk and talk aimlessly and cheerfully about whatever as he worked....Obviously not understanding how precious our home is to us and how hard people work to make their homes their own. I'm devastated by this whole experience.
