Swat Wildlife and Insulation

We heard an animal in the front part of our roof and assumed it was a squirrel. Whatever it was, we knew we had to get it out and the job wasn't something we knew how to do ourselves.

We called another company first who said they would come the next afternoon. They were a no show (of course, very frustrating when you stay home for them!), so we saw the great reviews on HomeStars for SWAT so we called them next.

SWAT gave us an exact time that they would show up and they were right on time. They quickly assessed the situation and told us that they could do the job right away if we wanted. They inspected the space and then set up a one-way door in case the animal was still hiding inside. Haven't had a problem since.

We were impressed with their punctuality and their ability to rectify our problem on the spot, without having to come back on a different day. Would definitely call SWAT again first if we had another similar problem.

They responded very promptly and professionally, put the wire mesh in two places and even left it in place until the roof was fixed. The guy who came was very polite, very good, and it even cost less than what others asked for. I hope I never have a raccoon in the roof again, but if do, I'll have no hesitation to call on S.W.A.T.

From the initial call to job completion, SWAT was patient, polite, professional and punctual. Moreover, their humane approach was something that we didn't glean from any other company.

I called a few animal control companies. SWAT told me they would be here in a few hours. They did the job and when they needed to come back on the weekend they were available and showed up. Knowledgeable, trustworthy and efficient.

Derrick and Randy came to our home to remove a mother racoon and her five babies from the attic. The mother entered the attic through a soffit in the roof. Derrick and Randy removed the babies and installed a one-way door for the mother to exit. They returned in a few days to remove the door and repair the soffit. They also covered the roof vents with metal screens to prevent any future problems with animals. We can't say enough about how professional, courteous and knowledgeable these men were. We would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others. If possible, we would score them a 10++++++++++++++++++++. Thanks Derrick and Randy for job well done!!!

Adrian was punctual, professional and polite. His pricing is also reasonable - I had a 10% discount from a coupon printed out from Homestars. He was very thorough and careful in checking for animals and told us that there could also be mice in my attic even though he was only looking for the raccoon. A one-way door was set up to let the raccoon out and Adrian promptly returned one week later to remove the door and seal off the entry point. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I'm very happy with SWAT's services. Price-wise, they're very competitive, plus Derrick was great to work with. Very professional and fast. His work looked great and fixed the issue: the squirrels have left the building.

After being woken in our sleep all weekend, I called Derrick based on his review in Homestars. When he first answered (having someone answer was a definite plus!), he politely informed me that he was booked solid that day. However, he also asked where I was located, and when I told him Markham, he said he could likely swing by as he had another appointment in Markham in the afternoon.

True to his word, he showed up at the discussed time and proceeded to check my property for signs that squirrels had entered, as we suspected them as the culprits. As a testament to his integrity, he commented that the previous wildlife-proofing I'd had done by another company was good and intact, and that there was no work he needed to do as he could find no entry point for squirrels. Therefore, he'd only be charging me a call-out fee.

He then proceeded to educate me that mice can be very loud and, based on my description of the events, he said that they were the likely culprits and recommend bait blocks.

While I'm sure SWAT's wildlife removal and protection services would have been top-notch, it's also nice to deal with someone who has a solid work ethic and the integrity not to sell you something you don't need.

Derek was great to deal with. He was on time (arrived at the beginning of the stated appointment window), friendly and explained exactly what he was going to do.

On his initial visit he installed a one-way door to let the squirrels exit the attic but not get back in.

They followed up about a week later to remove the one way door and seal the entry point.

Much more competitive pricing than some of the other companies I called. Would definitely call them again in the future, although I hope not to need their services!

Hoping to not have to take advantage of their 1 year guarantee either.
