The floor drain in my basement backed up and I wanted to resolve the issue by installing a backwater valve. I figured I would replace my water supply line, which was lead, at the same time. I called Valentin, who was super responsive and had his crew (led by Denys) out within a few days. This is the second time I’ve used Strong - they replaced the water supply line in my first home. I had a great experience both times and I recommend Valentin to friends and family on a regular basis.

Here are the highlights of the job and my experience:

- Valentin responded promptly and arranged a time to come over to see the extent of the job.
- The quote was more than competitive.
- The City of Toronto offers a rebate for the installation of backwater valves – the process requires paperwork, permits and a visit by a city inspector – Valentine took care of all of this.
- Valentin’s team, led by Denys, arrived on time and went above and beyond to minimize damage and to keep the basement clean. They had to pull up some flooring which they did cleanly and neatly, making replacing the flooring an easy job. Also, this is a dirty job by nature, so I was very happy with the condition they left the basement in when the job was done.
- Needless to say I had a great experience with Strong Plumbing and interacting with Valentin and Denys.
