My existing garage door became damaged and would not open in the middle of January 2014. I spoke to some other vendors on the phone who told me that it would take months to get a new door ordered and installed. After calling Markham Garage Doors, a rep arrived at my house within 15 minutes. He spent half an hour helping me get the broken door open to rescue my car before even talking to me about a quote. He was able to offer a torsion-spring, powered door for my low-headroom garage to replace the original, noisy extension-spring manual door I had. The work was fully complete within two weeks of that visit and the door is so much nicer to use than what I had originally. Great service from guys who know their stuff!

Had an issue with my door mid day and was not able to leave my garage. Spoke to Chris on the phone was very pleasant and sent someone in less than an hour to have a look at the issue.Brandon was very friendly and explained the problem in simple terms so even I understood and explained my options. He completed the repair in less than an hour. Brandon noticed that the rollers were not in good shape either suggested I replace. The garage door works like new. Woke up to a broken spring on the garage door. Markham Garage Doors was here a half hour prior to the estimated time. Brandon was very friendly and explained the problem in simple lingo so even I understood. It took less than half an hour to fix the problem. Brandon noticed that I also had a bad bearing and was quick to replace that for me too. He also suggested to tighten the screws on the outer plates with the rollers at least a couple of times a year. Then he proceeded to tighten them all for me. Markham Garage Doors has a great service tech in Brandon and I will tell everybody that needs this service about Brandon and Markham Garage Doors.

I would highly recommend Markham Garage Doors. From first contact to the end of the job, the experience was pleasant. When I called I got a live person (Chris) who was able to take down the details and confirm that a service professional would be able to attend in the morning of the same day. The work was to fix a garage door opener and to provide a tuneup. Brandon the service professional was able to explain articulately and fix the problem with complete ease and all within an hour. Contacted Markham Garage Doors and Chris Dale (owner) was the first person I spoke to. Super friendly and honest about the best way to approach my broken Garage door which saved me a ton of money instead of having to replace and buy brand new garage doors. I also contacted Chris a second time and this time around he sent one of his service techs Brandon Sloan to swing by my house to assess a re-install of my garage door openers as they were not done correctly the first time by some random garage guy I called who placed his company sticker on the mailbox.

Markham Garage Doors are super fast and professional. Brandon knew exactly what he was talking about and the service was exceptional. Will refer these guys in a heart beat to anyone buying new garage doors or requiring any sort of service to them.

This is by far the best customer service I have received from a company. When I first called to inquire about a new door and asked for a quote, I was given a price over the phone and Kevin said he could come over to have a look in 30 minutes if I wanted. I asked if he could make it a bit later and he said no problem. Sure enough, Kevin showed up right on time, confirmed the price and gave me a quote in writing. He also did a temporary repair on my garage door at no charge before I had committed to purchasing the door from them. Later that day, I confirmed that we wanted to order the door. The door came in two days later and the installation date was scheduled.

My installation was done this morning. Ryan arrived on time and immediately introduced himself. We had a quick chat and he went right to work. Within a couple of hours, my old door was gone and my new door was installed along with a new keypad. When he finished, Ryan cleaned up and swept the garage, went over everything he did and we settled up on the bill.

Our garage door opener decided it didn't want to open and close the garage anymore. After not being able to figure out what was wrong, I called Markham Garage Doors to see if they could have a look. I was able to get a service person, Brandon S., to come and have a look within 1 hour of my phone call. He was very professional and quick at diagnosing the issue (within 10 minutes). Our garage door opener was a Stanley, which hasn't been in business for a number of years so unfortunately there were no spare parts to replace the broken housing for the gears. Brandon did the full replacement of our opener, with a LiftMaster, within 1 hour and even gave me a few trouble shooting tips in case we run into any issues to save us from a minor service call in the future. We are very happy with the service and product installation and would not hesitate to call them again if we have garage door issues.
