G&E Landscaping

I had a very bad experience with this company.
The job was to reset and upgrade an interlocking retention wall and front entrance stairs.
G&E Landscaping:
• Overcharged me
• Failed to build up the engineered wall according to the contract. I still have 7 inch wide of gravel behind some portions of the wall instead of 12 inch as per our contract – see photo
• Did not me provide me with a written warranty as per contract
• One of the copings is still unglued –see photo
• They did not clean properly after the work was done. It took me 4 hours and hundreds of gallons of water to remove 1 inch thick layer of soil from my driveway
• They did not use water while cutting the stone. The result was dust all over the place and complaints from my neighbours
• There are missing stones from the wall – see photos
• The final work does not look nice at all – please see the photos
The photos you see are of the final work. They came 2 or 3 times to fix the issues but were unable to do much.

Before selecting a contractor we did much work investigating which firm to hire. From day 1 we were very impressed with G&E Landscaping, with the pictures being taken, listening to what we wanted, and recommendations Jorge and his crew had we knew this was the company we wanted to work with.

The are always on time, professional, and perfectionists in their work. They guarentee their work, set up appointments for material selections, call you back and work with you so that you are completely satisfied with the results.

I would strongly recommend that you call them today you won't be disappointed.

G&E exemplified exemplary professionalism and superior craftsmanship on our project, and we cannot speak highly enough about their work.

George was a consummate professional, walking us through the entire process and accommodating a few changes to our plans along the way. The retaining walls, interlocking, and coping flow seamlessly from our front door to our backyard. Most impressive would have to be the cutting along the edges of our pool and along the steps from our side door. The combinations of interlocking and Bradstone and interlocking and granite have created an alluring effect that have brought my wife and me nothing but compliments from our family and friends.

Overall, George’s quote is his word, his portfolio is his guarantee, and his work is second to none. I would highly recommend G&E to anyone interested in transforming his house into a home.

I had an issue where water was draining from the roof and into the side of my house, right against the foundation. There was nothing leaking tho the basement yet, but it was only a matter of time. I got 4 quotes for fixing it, but the other contractors wanted to turn it into a major landscaping project. Not Jorge. He gave me a fair quote aimed at fixing the problem and making the area nice and usable. His wife, Daniella contacted me to schedule the work and answer any questions I had. They arrived on time, did a job that exceeded my expectations, and were very conscientious in cleaning up afterwards. I would not hesitate to use these guys again. G&E are trustworthy, honest and dedicated to their craft. Use them with confidence.

From start to finish, G&E proved to be professional in all aspects of our project, punctual for the duration of their two-week long commitment, and puritanical in their zeal to provide quality craftsmanship. We have recommended them with the utmost confidence to all our family and friends and encourage everyone to do the same.

I would highly recommend G E Landscaping for all your outdoor landscaping. The work was done on time and turned out better than we thought. They were also very polite and kept the jobsite very clean. I would definately use them again.

G & E Landscaping were very clean and organized thru out the project, from start to finish George let us know the stages of the work in progress and kept us very well informed, the great thing too is that he stands behind his work and from what I have seen there is no job to big or small that they cant handle, very good detailed work and now my family uses his services as well and they are all happy as well. I say call him for your needs and dont waste time with the wanna bees!

I found G&E landscaping while walking home one day and notice the attention to detail they were taking on the job they were doing. I called them up - got a quote and went ahead with the job. George is a very knowledgeable owner and take the times to explain and describe things and came up with a great plan. The guys were great and too care to make sure they didn't disturb us or the neighbourhood too much. We are so happy with the job and have received nothing but rave reviews from friends.

UPDATE - George has come by each year since at the beginning of the year and checked out my walkway to confirm everything looks ok - what service! I've also had them in to do some inside stone work - which is their winter business.
