I hired Ben to do a complete removal and replacement of a very leaky flat roof at the rear of the house. There was a lot of wood replacement required and it was beautifully done. I appreciated his attention to detail and the awesome cleanup job.

I was first introduced to Ben at Luc’s roofing 2 years ago when we started planning our roof replacement. I felt very comfortable with his approach and he seemed like a genuine, thoughtful kind of guy. At the time we decided it wasn’t the right timing for us to move forward with the project. Fast forward to Oct. 2020 we engaged Luc’s roofing again, remembering the previous experience and they were able to squeeze us in before the end of the season.

I can’t give enough positive feedback. Ben and his crew were quick, attentive, and an all around really great group of people. We have tenants on the main floor, so it was important for them to be able to come and go as needed. Luc’s Roofing was very accommodating and kept the site clean and organized. We’re very happy with the result – cedar detailing, black gutters and downspouts. We would recommend them to anyone.

Ben and his team did the job in four days, cleaned up every day, left the property immaculate, and didn't damage a single plant. They were professional in every way, so delighted. We could not be happier with Ben and his amazing team. They were careful, thoughtful, and hard-working. They covered all of our and our neighbour's windows and other property before starting. The day was incredibly hot, but they managed to get everything done quickly and efficiently. They also ensured that the roof (which was in considerably bad shape) was fixed and good for the next few decades. Most importantly, Ben and his team were incredibly trustworthy and honest. A big thank you to Ben and the entire Luc's Roofing team. The estimate process and the pre-work explanations were terrific and we were impressed with their professionalism. Ben communicated with us on a very regular basis and kept us posted on plans and progress. The guys were all personable and polite and the work area was cleaned up at the end of every day. Every aspect of the job was addressed - no shortcuts! When a mourning dove's nest was found in the eavestrough, it was carefully removed and placed on a flat stone until that area was finished, then replaced. Mama dove went right back to her babes - fantastic! Quality workmanship with a professional , caring approach!

The 4 different recommendations from neighbours were so spot-on: Ben and his crew exceeded our expectations from helping us plan the scope of work, working around some weird issues on our old downtown house to executing all of it under time with a spotless clean-up at the end.

Our flat roof needed full replacement after years of spot "fixes." Ben was clear on suggestions and patiently answered many of our questions. He also warned us that we wouldn't know how much new insulation would be needed until they tore it up (turns out we needed A LOT!). He kept us updated on that throughout the job.

We also had a mangled trough that was touching the side of our neighbours' house, which leaked constantly, and no other trades could come up with a smart solution other than to try and replace it.

Ben suggested removing that trough completely and "angling" the new flat roof to send water towards a new back downspout. Then not happy with the ugly look of the downspout jutting out, he and his crew figured out a way to run it under our existing back wooden walkway by carefully cutting it away and replacing the wood pieces.

His crew worked so hard through two very hot days to complete the job (less time than anticipated), and then cleaned up so well that we couldn't even find an errant screw or garbage anywhere.

We had 2 very, very minor things that needed adjusting afterward and Ben responded quickly and came within a day or two to address them.

They have great pride in their work. Super professional; could not recommend them more.

With the insulation and roof vent etc, we've already noticed a better, more even temperature, and no more trough issues!

It's always challenging getting a major home repair like a new roof, especially when you don't know the company you're working with.

We found Luc's based on their high reviews and requested an estimate. They were prompt and the estimate was fair and they stuck to it so we hired them and are glad we did.

The workers arrived on time and were polite, quiet and efficient. And they removed all the garbage and old shingles every day and kept the outside of our clean. So clean that when they left, you would not have been able to tell we just got the repair.

A few days ago we were talking to some friends about these great roofers we'd found and they said they'd had their roof done a year ago and had a good company too.

Turned out they also used Luc's. Highly recommended! We would call them again.

From original quote through to final payment and all parts in between, Ben and the team were professional, easy to deal with and did a top quality job. They worked with care in preparing and doing the job and did an excellent clean-up at the end. I was impressed with having a Contractor who made the job painless for me and, who did a superior job with thoughtful extras beyond my original request.

I have used Luc's Roofing before for smaller porch roofs and they did a good job. Ben even helped me out with a minor eaves trough problem afterwards at no cost. So when it came time to replace the roofing on my house I called them again. Once again they did an excellent job. They added a great Whirly turbine device which cools off the attic nicely, they installed an insulated pipe for the bathroom fan and they even fixed up some flashing above the porch which a previous company did a bad job on years before. They cleaned up everything and were done in a day and a half. They use good quality materials, are very nice to work with and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
