Thought I'd try to save a little with the Internet coupon. The people were nice but they only did a quick pass over my carpets with a steam cleaner. I was expecting them to use the scrubbing shampoo machine then the steam cleaner, they only steam cleaned. The carpets were cleaner, but far from what I expected.
I called the company I had been using in the past, they redid the carpets for me, now they look like new.

- Shampoo carpets, then stem clean.
- Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
- Find a carpet cleaner who does both steps when cleaning. It costs a bit more but you get what you pay for.
