although the carpets were cleaned well, I don't like that they quote one amount on the phone after I carefully told them what needed to be done, then they up it when they get here. Bad business in my opinion

Thanks for the feedback Melanie. Although we do our very best to provide an accurate estimate of the cost of the cleaning over the phone, since we can see the actual work being done, we can't give an exact cost until the technician arrives at the home. We'd never intentionally give a price that was way out of line over the phone and that is why we always make sure that the price is agreed upon before the work begins so that there are no surprises for our clients.
