I only waited about 10 minutes from my first call to the office before he arrived. The deadbolt on the door I use was stuck in the lock position which would have been a problem to get through so he checked the other doors on the house first. He didn't care there were no stairs to an unused door. That one was the easiest (and therefore cheapest) way to get me into my house. He quickly picked the 2 locks and then the "problem" door was then opened from the inside. No expensive drilling locks out suggested or required.
My issue turned out to be a loose screw on the faceplate that was blocking the latch from turning. At this point, we could have just tightened the screws down and I would have only paid the service charge. But I really needed to change that lock years ago so I asked him what parts he had with him. He had a brand name I liked and a price that sounded reasonable. It was- I found similar models online at the same price I was charged and his van was set up to cut extra keys from me (it's hard to get proper copies cut in most stores with this better quality lock). He didn't charge me anything extra for installation.
The emergency service call charge was very reasonable seeing as it covered showing up in 10 mins, picking 2 locks to get me inside, removing and replacing the failing lock, and cutting and testing 2 extra keys. The bill was just a new lock, service call and tax. No surprise extras. He had a proper credit card scanning system attached to his phone and he emailed me the receipt.
I definitely recommend this business to others.
