Our 9 year old hot water stopped working (pilot light wouldn't stay lit), so called Knight's Plumbing based on the reviews. Customer service was excellent and the technician was efficient and helpful, but the cost was a little more than I had anticipated. I was given the quote before the work began, so it definitely falls on me, but if it wasn't for having any hot water and having more time to research, I would have been able to save almost half of the cost - this is even with their current promotional discount. Overall, we were happy with the process, but the cost will have us looking elsewhere for replacing our furnance and installing air conditioning.

We have always been upfront with our clients with our pricing as you mentioned. Just like in any industry there will always be cheaper companies or people who claim to be cheaper. We have never claimed this or ever will. You did mention the excellent Customer Service and the Technician being efficient and helpful along with you being happy with the overall process. These are just a few things that do come at a premium cost. After 48 years in Calgary we have taken great pride in providing the best Technicians, Customer Service Representatives and warranties long after the other "cheaper" companies or people have closed their doors or just plain disappeared. Premium service, products and warranties ( truly backed 24/7 365 days a year ) does come at a premium price.I hope this addresses your concern.
