Single Handle Kitchen Faucet / Toilet Flush Valve Replacement
My job was farmed out to a third party plumber which is fine, however they didn't respect the 2 hour service window I was promised by Knight Plumbing, they didn't show up and they didn't call. When I called Knight Plumbing I was told it was a crazy day but I was next on the list, but they couldn't tell me at what time.?
When the plumber finally called I was told it was in my best interest to go and by the faucet myself, single handle faucets are 1 size fits all, call back for an appointment to have it installed. Makes sense except why would you make your customer sit at home and wait for a plumber to call ? Why couldn't your booking agent provide this direction? If you're going to farm out your jobs to a third party make sure they respect your customers assigned timeline. I bought the faucet but based on poor customer service I am looking at having it installed by a reputable competitor.

I have had a chance to look into your concerns, Derek is our service technician that day he is one of our service techs as we never send out 3rd parties as we don't use contractors. The faucet you were looking for is not a standard faucet, you mentioned to the service tech that your spouse was looking for a swan neck faucet that is not common and is not always available. Our CSR's are not service technicians and it was not advised at the time of booking that this kind of faucet that you were looking for. We do carry a lot of product but faucets like that are not standard so this would have been considered special ordered product. We do not guarantee times with customers as previous service calls can take longer then normal and that is why we provide a 30 minute courtesy call prior to arrival.
