We contacted a number of local contractors to have a look out our current systems, as we had a leak in the hot water tank, we wanted to explore the replacement cost of the unit itself, as well as looking at the other major appliances as they were older units.
The storage tank was showing its age, and replacement was the best option, the furnace was about 30 years old.
We spoke with GSM and the provided us with many options (As per my request). We went with them as they had a good reputation around our town.
After the work was started, we could easily see the care that Paul (Owner / Operator) and his employees took in their craft. The piping was clean and done well and the exterior venting put where I wanted.
The room for this gear is big enough, but the layout was not ideal, they moved HVAC connections around, moved the central vac to another wall and neatly tucked the hot water on demand and new furnace neatly against the wall. This was not requested although they did ask if they could move things and I gave approval. The result of this is a room that has a substantial amount of more usable space, shelving, an area for my network / audio video rack and vacuum storage. It is great.
When the city inspector came in he gave everything a look over and said it looked really good and there were no issues. He asked me who did the work, I told him Paul's team did and he said "That makes sense, they do great work".
Overall we are extremely pleased with Paul's company, his team, and himself.
Paul's team gave me a walk though of the new systems and Paul himself has always answered my questions that I brought forward in learning the new equipment.
