I had a good experience with Lenaco. In the event I build a new home again, I would use Lenaco should there be lots in an area I was interested in.
New home deficiencies
I purchased a duplex home from this builder, John, the owner is a very pleasant approachable fellow. However, when it comes to the difficult stuff, he is full of words and little timely action. My driveway concrete is degrading at an alarming rate, it has been since day 1. John gave me all kinds of dialogue and a let's wait and see approach, I always felt, he would "do the right thing". Boy. was I wrong. He strung me along until the new home warranty had expired with this solution, and "let's wait and maybe this will work. He managed the time lines very cunningly. I was guilty of believing him. Now, I have a substandard concrete pad that will degrade prematurely. This company is very nice to deal with until it costs them money. Look around at all builders and get statements in writing...
