Dave provided the service just as I had expected and included lots of value added advice and suggestions. There were were no hidden costs. Dave plus one of his team came to the house and laid out carpet/flooring protectors before they started the job. Dave explained everything they were going to do, and even remembered my comments about our air conditioning not feeling like it was working during our initial phone conversation. Once on site, he provided lots of advice on how to balance the cold air returns to ensure the central air conditioning plus the furnace worked optimally to pull as much air from the upstairs as possible. They systematically work from floor to floor, duct to duct to thoroughly clean the hot air ducts, then the cold air returns and finally the main ductwork off from the furnace & A/C. I have had many duct cleanings done in previous houses I have owned, but compared to the process and effort of Dave and his team, this was by far the most professional and value added service I have experienced. So often when having work done on your home, you never quite feel like the service received was what you expect, but with MedAir I can honestly say I received exceptional service, and advice and an extremely positive experience. I will definitely refer Dave and his company again.

The service we were provided was second to none. Dave explained everythign in detail, we even learned a few things. The ducts on this house had not been cleaned in years so it was alot of work and they did an amazing job. The team was on time, prompt , cleaned up afterwards.
We will use then for maintenance in the future and would highly recommend them.

I was shopping for a furnace and AC after my eco-audit, when I stumbled upon Brian through a fellow RedFlagDeals member, and after reading the reviews here on Homestars, I asked him to give me a quote. He showed up on time as scheduled and he was very thorough in explaining the American Standard line of products. He was the only contractor who took the time to walk me through the installation process and design. He also made some recommendations on deficiencies on my current ductwork which some other contractors did not address. It was because of this and the reasonable prices of his quote which sold me in doing business with his company. It's also a comfortable feeling to know that your contractor will back up their work with their own 3 year labour warranty on top of the factory warranty. His company has also put up group buys at RFD and have installed many systems with good reviews.

I had a complete HVAC make last weekend, and got an American Standard modulating furnace, 15 Seer AC, Communicating thermostat, fan powered humidfier, Rinnai tankless water heater, Vanee ERV, and media air cleaner installed.
His team worked tirelessly all day, and the installation was very neat and tidy. His crew left my house clean, almost as if they weren't even there. Since the install, I've noticed that the air is cleaner, the furnace is ultra quiet, and the bonus of unlimited hot water. I can't wait to give the AC a spin this summer :) Brian will be doing a follow-up visit in a few weeks to make sure everything is running at optimal.

MedAir (ductsbydave) and his crew were on time, thorough and very informative, answering all our questions. Dave and Mark worked fast but efficiently - real team work - and cleaned up after themselves. This company also does carpet cleaning and we will definately call them back for duct cleaning and carptet cleaning. We were very pleased with the results and the price.
