Dishwasher purchase

Don't EVER buy from here! We have never written a negative review but feel compelled to warn people to stay away from this place and avoid having to go through what we have had to deal with, ongoing for 6 weeks now. We bought a Bosch $1,500 dishwasher from Canadian Appliance at the end of January 2018. It had to be picked up. Once unpacked at home a major dent on the interior of the unit made it inoperable. We called right away, and followed up with pictures of the damage via email. We were repeatedly passed onto non-responsive company representatives who then pushed us onto Bosch saying 'only a Bosch technician could come take a look and determine next steps'. Appointments for this were booking 4 weeks out! Here we are 4+ weeks later, a technician finally appeared last week and determined in 30 seconds that it was shipment damage and needed to be replaced. We waited over 4 weeks for this assessment which we had provided the day we got the unit. Bosch said the 'retailer' had to take action, Canadian Appliance said Bosch was responsible. That was over a week ago now, and we are IN WEEK 6 with a very expensive, damaged dishwasher sitting in our kitchen, and Canadian Appliance not taking any action to make it right. We plan to report them to the Better Business Bureau and cannot recommend strongly enough that you STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your dishwasher was damaged. Please know that we only sell new appliances and as such do not have the ability to perform repairs or provide replacement parts. The first year you have the appliance it is under warranty from the manufacturer and as such, any issue with the appliance is their responsibility. As you had installed the dishwasher and that the damage was inside the unit, Bosch would be responsible and would need to send a technician to assess your appliance. We have reached out to Bosch to request an update regarding your order.
