Attic insulation improvement & upgrade
I called Ideal based on the high ranking here on Homestars and I was not disappointed! Colin was very helpful from the outset, and the work was completed cleanly & quickly, and the cost came out exactly as quoted.
I had recently purchased my first home, and during the home inspection the inspector noted that the insulation wasn't blown all the way into a couple of the attic's corners, creating some icicle formation at the corners of my roof. They came out and quoted me quickly for the basic fix, and also offered me a very reasonable "upgrade" option to get the whole attic up to R50, explaining the advantages as well. There was no pressure to pay the extra few hundred for that upgrade, although I did elect to go ahead with it based on their recommendation.
Overall I would call them again in a heartbeat, and recommend them (have recommended them actually) to friends and family without hesitation. Thanks guys!
